Australia’s EB Games sold out in under 30 minutes of launch day consoles, with the provision of one console per customer. Well, that didn’t seem to stop people from ordering multiple consoles via multiple accounts in order to shove them up onto eBay for a profit.
As you can see above, the going rate for a Launch Day Playstation 5 console “guaranteed” is anywhere from AUD$1000 to AUD$2000 on the popular second hand selling website, which is anywhere from double to triple the price of the console directly from EB Games at AUD$750.
