Our client in the restaurant industry currently has an exciting opportunity to work and grow as a Help Desk Technician. This will be a 6-month contract-to-hire role, 100% remote. Preferred: Candidates residing in South CA Must-haves 2+ Years in a Quick Serve Restaurant role (QSR) or Retail POS experience supporting over 50 locations. Experience working with Aloha Quick Serve software or si milar POS system Basic level troubleshooting experience with internet & Wi-Fi equipment issues Understanding of credit card processing architecture in the age of PCI compliance Experience with various tablets; must be able to configure and troubleshoot tablets from a basic level (any type of tablet will suffice) QSR KDS systems experience\/knowledge Day-to-Day This candidate will be responsible for managing a ticketing cue that varies daily. This person will support tickets coming from ~600 restaurant locations. The ideal candidate will have great customer service skills, previous experience working in the QSR (quick service restaurant) industry, and basic troubleshooting skills. This person needs to be available to work an 8-10 hour shift between the hours of 6a 9pm. - provided by Dice
