We are looking for a Deskside Support Engineer to provide on-site or remote technical assistance including the setting up of computer hardware systems, installing and upgrading software, and troubleshooting basic IT issues. Responsibilities: 1. Day to day as an executive and tier 1 support 2. Providing desk side support including white glove service to executive team and on-site level 1 support to users. 3. Imaging and re-imaging laptops and desktops setting it up with required configurations for new and existing users. 4. Deployment of computer hardware, systems software and applications. 5.Diagnosing, troubleshooting and solving hardware (PCs, Printers), software and network issues 6. Active Directory for user account management 7. ServiceNow ticketing system 8. SCCM for Imaging and re-imaging laptops and desktops as well as deployment of software’s • Windows 10 • Microsoft Office365 • Microsoft Teams • Skype For Business • One drive • Data migrations and backups • Laptop and Desktop deployments • Well-developed time management skills • Ability to work independently as single handed onsite 9. Providing desk side technical support for users including walk-ins and calls & support tickets generated. 10. Imaging and re-imaging laptops and desktops setting it up with requires configurations for new and existing users. 11. Troubleshooting hardware/software and network issues. 12. Decision making for when a hardware and accessories needs further troubleshooting or to be replaced for break fix 13. Work with project offices to ensure project continuity and be able to deliver on time Requirement 1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology. 2. Proven work experience as a desktop support engineer or support technician. 3. Advanced knowledge of computer hardware systems, chipsets, memory modules, and peripherals. 4. Knowledge of popular operating systems, software applications, and remote connection systems. 5. Ability to solve complex hardware and software issues. 6. Ability to travel and work after hours when necessary. 7. Good written and verbal communication skills.
