nt is helping a client hire a PLC/ Controls Remote Support Technician in Kansas City, MO. Position: PLC / Controls Remote Support Technician The company is looking to hire a PLC / Controls Remote Support Technician for the Service team. This position will be responsible for supporting internal and external customers with equipment remotely. You will accomplish this using phone/computer systems to log in remotely and assist in troubleshooting. Location: Remote or at Headquarters in Kansas City, MO (if you work remote, you’ll spend one week a month in KC) Compensation Package: $80 - 90k+ (base pay + OT + per diem + health insurance) Salary: $34/hr + OT Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8am – 5pm 24/7 On-y 6-8 weeks. You will earn base pay + 1.5x after hours and 2x on weekend. $400/week per diem. (equals an extra $12k+ annually) Travel: You must be able to travel to customer sites 4-5 days per month and to Kansas City 1 week / month if remote, paid for by the company Customer Support: You will be the liaison between customers and the service department to work through issues over the phone/computer. Vaccination: NOT required Responsibilities: Take SOS calls and work to solve the problems encountered. Participate in 24/7 customer support one week every 6-8 weeks. During startups or upgrade of installations, support the installation or service team. Work on development and installation of upgrades for the updating of electrical programs and plans. Perform the required programming for components from the spare parts department (ex: computers, interfaces, etc.) Provide support to the QA department ramming and electrical level. Take part in the development of products in collaboration with various departments. Provide a "field" vision to the team. Take part in testing and startups of factory equipment for FAT. Take part in several continuous improvement projects for the automation department
