Overview Lannan Technologies is seeking a full-time Mobile Desktop & Help Desk Technician based out of Boston, Massachusetts, or surrounding area. This is an 80% interstate travel position which consists of driving to and from client sites to support and maintain computer systems, desktops, and peripherals, as well as provide ticket resolution and help desk troubleshooting assistance. Company vehicle, gas, meals, and lodging provided. Responsibilities • Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance • Perform on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex desktop problems for end users • Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end user and network hardware, peripheral devices, printing/scanning devices, presentation equipment, software, and other products • Reproduce, diagnose, analyze, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems reported by end users • Set up and deploy IT equipment for new employees • Assess recurring issues to create automated processes • Provide end user training as needed Qualifications • Clean driving record • Bachelor’s degree or 3 years of equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field • Excellent knowledge of PC and desktop hardware and internal components • Hands-on hardware troubleshooting and equipment support experience • Working technical knowledge of current protocols, operating systems, and standards • Ability to operate tools, components, and peripheral accessories • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment • Customer-oriented and cool-tempered • Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language • Highly self-motivated and directed • Keen attention to detail • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills • Strong written and oral communication skills • Must have U.S. citizenship and be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship Benefits • Competitive Salary • Medical Insurance • Dental Insurance • Vision Insurance • Health Savings Account • Group Term Life Insurance • Voluntary Life Insurance • Short-Term Disability • Long-Term Disability • Paid Time Off About Lannan Technologies Founded in 2010, Lannan Technologies is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) providing business-to-business Information Technology services, specializing in Managed Services and Intelligence Analytics.
