Position: IT / User Support Specialist - Hybrid Industry: Healthcare Technology Employment Arrangement: Full Time Location: Centennial, Colorado, United States Work Type: Hybrid - 3 days a week tion, 2 days work from home Job Description: Our leading healthcare client is looking for a skilled IT Support Specialist. This role is to ensure proper computer operation so that end users can accomplish business tasks. This includes receiving, prioritizing, documenting, and actively resolving end user help requests. Problem resolution may involve the use of diagnostic and help request tracking tools, as well as require that the individual give in-person, hands-on help l. This is a hybrid role requiring in office presence 2-3 times per week. Essential Job Functions Field incoming help requests from end users via, telephone, web-based ticketing system, and e-mail in a courteous manner. Resolve IT tickets assigned timely. Document all pertinent end user identification information, including name, department, contact information, and nature of problem or issue. Build rapport and elicit problem details from help desk customers. Prioritize and schedule problem resolution. Escalate problems (when required) to the appropriately experienced technician. Record, track, and document the help desk request problem-solving process, including all actions taken, through to final resolution. Maintain and track assets inventory Provides technical support in identifying, investigating, and resolving end user's computer software and hardware issues Administer new user accounts, work email addresses, and access levels to new employees to ensure they have everything they need to work efficiently Access software updates, drivers, knowledge bases, and resources on the Internet to aid in problem resolution. Test fixes to ensure problem has been adequately resolved New systems readiness with all preloaded applications like MS Office, Anti-Virus, patches, and client applications Ensuring monthly Anti-Virus and patch management is updated Education Qualification: Associate or bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or Engineering. 5+ years of experience working as an IT Support Specialist /Helpdesk in IT or Similar roles Job Requirements: Knowledge of basic computer hardware, including Desktops, Notebooks, USB Peripherals and Printers, printers, and scanners Experienced application support with Microsoft Office, and Remote Connection Software Knowledge of Account Management in Active Directory (create, disable, reset passwords Desktop, laptop Set up or repair computer equipment and related devices & need to make sure system is ready to use Shipping new laptops/Desktops to new users Installing Antivirus and making the system ready to use for the new users Exceptional ability to provide technical support and resolve queries Experience with ticketing system Experience working with Ticketing system Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests Experience in documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics Experience with desktop and server operating systems Setting up accounts for new users Install and configure hardware and software components Skills: Microsoft office 365, Windows OS Installation, Antivirus, Active Directory, VDI's and RDP setup, AD/ DNS/ DHCP Nice to have Skills: AWS / Azure Job Type: Full-time Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Vision insurance Schedule: 8 hour shift Supplemental pay types: Bonus pay Ability to commute/relocate: Centennial, CO 80112: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Experience: IT support: 5 years (Required) Microsoft Office 365: 5 years (Required) Technical support: 5 years (Required) Active Directory: 5 years (Required) Work Location: Hybrid remote in Centennial, CO 80112
