What You'll Do: The IT Support Specialist, under the direction of the IT Director, provides support to onsite, jobsite or remote users and assists with enterprise technology projects. Candidates should be passionate about working with people to solve their technology related issues while utilizing a high degree of patience and problem management skills. Provide technical support for laptop computers, mobile devices, peripherals, and software applications including setup, installation, upgrading, troubleshooting, repair, and documentation of all hardware and software. Support and troubleshoot wired, wireless, and VPN connectivity for laptops, and mobile devices. Ability to troubleshoot and support Windows Server Infrastructure hosted in the Azure public cloud. Aid with general operation of standard supported software including, but not limited to, MS Office suite, Adobe CS/CC, web browsers, email clients, and enterprise applications. Support Argus Enterprise, KnowBe4, SharePoint, One Drive, One Note, Power Automate, Power BI, Mimecast, MS Intune, MS Teams, PDF Exchange Editor, Yardi Voyager, VMware Air Watch, Zoom, Zscaler, and other SaaS or locally installed applications. Promote a cybersecurity culture by supporting secure behaviors and best practices which protect our data and systems. Utilize help desk ticketing system to document all work performed, communications with clients, and inventory of hardware and software assets. Provide reinforcing support to IT Service Desk to ensure customer support and satisfaction to all users. Ability to create clear, concise communication and documentation. Engage with office staff and IT Director to suggest, develop, and test IT improvements. Participates with nce our IT systems. Ability to work some evening and weekend hours as needed. Generally, 1-3 times per year to support disaster recovery testing s maintenance items can be expected. What You'll Need: 3-4 years of PC support or helpdesk experience. An associate's or bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent combination of experience in related field CompTIA A+ certification desired Strong customer service focus with working knowledge of; workstation imaging and deployment, PCs, Macs, iPads, iPhones, Polycom phones, AV conferencing equipment, IOS and Android mobile devices, multifunction printers and other peripherals. Working knowledge of computer networks and connectivity (LAN/WAN/TCP/IP) desired. Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully; translate complex technical information to a non-technical audience. Experience supporting audio/video in a classroom or business environment desired. Experience installing and troubleshooting a broad range of applications and peripherals on both Windows and Mac desktops and laptops. Working knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy. Must be customer service orientated, including oral, written and interpersonal communication skills Strong organization skills, problem-solving skills and resourcefulness Exceptional ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail Must be comfortable with shifting deadlines and changing priorities to meet the demands of our small but busy department Team player with the ability to collaborate with employees and teams ls within the organization Maintains a high level of confidentiality When and Where? The IT Support Specialist is a full-time position.
