Our Enterprise Service Desk team is looking for a highly skilled PC technician with a passion to resolve complex break/fix issues within a wide variety of technology and systems, with a passion to deliver world class customer service along with the ability to multi-task in a variety of ways. You will be working as a collaborative team player and willing to perform a wide variety of tasks. What you will do: • Log, diagnose and resolve intermediate to advanced computer-related calls. May coordinate the initial set-up and maintenance/repairs of desktop hardware and/or client software. • Troubleshoot and identify complex problems, determine solutions or escalation path to specialized teams. Answer questions, research problems, implement and document solutions and follow-up with business partners or team. • Log, diagnose, and resolve intermediate to advanced computer related calls. Ensure timely resolution or response to trouble calls to minimize impact on customer's daily activities. Decide and follow up on escalation steps with team, support areas, and vendors. • Research, test and install hardware/software in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. May lead the selection, rollout, implementation, initial set-up and maintenance/repairs of desktop hardware and/or software, including the coordination of hardware relocation for business partners. Configure, install and maintain complex PC-related hardware and software in accordance with established procedures and guidelines and provide instruction/education to PC users in adapting new systems. • Develop documentation for troubleshooting or applications and lead the training for team members and business partners. • Monitor applicable systems and communicate issues in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. Identify trends and ensure systems are available and operational to keep overall downtime to a minimum. • Review existing procedures to ensure that network customers are receiving appropriate assistance when reporting problems. • May serve as technical expert on computer related projects and requests including testing applications, evaluating software and establishing procedures for hardware. • Perform other job related duties and special projects as required. Qualifications Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent required • Computer-related designation or certification preferred • 4-6 years related work experience required Keys to success in this position: • Advanced technical PC skills including knowledge of operating systems, networking and/or hardware required • Must be detail oriented and have strong communication, customer service, analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to maintain confidentiality is essential • May be required to provide on-call support • Travel may be required, including overnight stays Salary Range Information Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salary Range $41700 - $80400 / year Additional Information Hours This position will have a 40 hour work week Work Environments This role offers the ability for in-office, hybrid (blending both office and remote work in a typical workweek), and remote work arrangements.
