Currently we are searching for a IT Helpdesk Technician to fulfil an immediate vacancy. Description: The Help Desk Technician is a member of the IT Help Desk supporting all employees at all facilities with Level 1 and Level 2 technical support. Common technical support duties include answering telephones, communicating with clients, diagnosing hardware and software malfunctions, troubleshooting problems, replacing hardware and installing new software on clients' machines. Job Functions: • Serve as the first contact for customers who need technical assistance via the phone, email or in person. • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical hardware and/or software issues on PC, Mac and Mobile devices. • Work as part of a team in a call center environment. • Stay current with all technologies in use within the organization to provide direct support. • Supporting Office 365, Azure Cloud, Mobile Devices and other technologies in use within the company. • Working on an average of 10-15 tickets a day through their Fresh Service ticketing system (similar to ServiceNow) • Handling common issues such as email box issues, office product issues, Excel spreadsheet macros not working, etc. • Taking phone calls • Providing Tier 1 support for 350 end users • Preparing new devices ready for provisioning • Working within security tools to find issues and resolve issues Required Technical and Professional Experience: • 2+ years of Active Directory- resetting passwords, editing users, unlocking accounts • 2+ years of Office 365 or suite • Troubleshooting of laptops - resolving issues with both Windows PC and Macintosh operating systems. • Experience resolving issues with IP networks and Remote Connectivity (RDS, VPN) - experience with remote users • Bonus: Experience with Azure Cloud If your background, skills, and interest match the following; please apply online to ensure your credentials are reviewed by a skilled recruiter immediately.
