Position: IT Helpdesk Manager - W2 contract to hire Role: Helpdesk Manager Location: Worcester Start date: 09/06 Interviewing Now!!! W2 contract only - or holder I am currently working with an inspiring client of mine who is looking for additional support on their IT Support team in the form of a Helpdesk Manager! This role will initially be for a W2 contract for around 3 months, whilst the client continues to look for a permanent candidate. The successful candidate will be encouraged to apply for the permanent position. The role would see you working alongside their 7 other IT support technicians, managing their helpdesk, and helping to mentor the more junior technicians. The role will still be hands-on, however, working directly with end users, carrying out computer deployments, and managing their networking. This is initially a fully onsite position, but once the right candidate is bedded into the team there will be the opportunity for remote working. The role is based in central Worcester, and is easily commutable, along with parking. This role requires the successful candidate to have commercial experience with the following: • Windows Environments supporting Office 365, Active directory, and further windows applications • Experience supporting Mac's with OSX • Networking and Internetworking • Service Desk Ticketing systems such as Service Now, Magic, Remedy etc • Great communication skills, working in customer-facing roles previously. The following experience would be desirable for the position: • Supporting Linux environments • HTML • SCT Banner • Unix As this is a W2 contract, you will be working through ITECCO as the employer, onsite with our end client.
