Job Description Help Desktop Support - Virtual Remote 6 Months The Office of Volunteer Engagement's (OVE) Helpline offers customer assistance to thousands of volunteers through email and phone as well as an online portal. OVE is seeking an innovative, organized self-starter who will support the Helpline in resolving volunteers' concerns through both direct customer service and operational assistance (accessing and navigating the portal, digital content creation, organization of resources, etc.). Responsibilities: • Responsible for providing first-level support for all end-users • Support team with data entry, spreadsheet management, and digital file organization • Handle customer inquiries and complaints, offer appropriate solutions, and provide timely follow-up to ensure resolution • Support resource team in additional projects as needed Requirements: • Ambitious self-starter who works well with a diverse team of staff and volunteers • Excellent oral and written communication skills with proven customer support experience • Patience, empathy, and emotional intelligence when interacting with Helpline customers and volunteer partners • Experience using digital ticketing systems and computer proficiency with software technologies • A can-do-attitude and willingness to go the extra mile to engage volunteers when necessary • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, and Power Point • Willingness to work flexible hours when appropriate • rience is a must Proven rience is a must with digital ticketing systems and computer proficiency with software technologies.
