Modis Desktop Support Specialist Job Description Position Summary: Modis is seeking a Desktop Support Specialist. As the Desktop Support Specialist, you will be responsible for handling first and second-level support of service requests related to all technology including but not limited to workstations, mobile devices, servers, printers, and networks, along with vendor-specific hardware and software. What you’ll do: • Maintain notification systems to respond to and triage incoming first and second-level incident support issues, and escalate to advanced IT support, as needed. • Provide desktop support, infrastructure support of LAN/WAN, and wireless network systems for onsite end-users, other offices, and remote end-users. • Create and modify support documentation to improve processes and procedures. • Image, configure, deploy, and recover end-user computing assets including laptop PCs, and iOS devices. What you’ll bring: • Excellent customer service skills. • 2 years of experience working with iOS devices. • 2 years of experience working in a Windows environment. • 2 years of experience with Active Directory, and O365. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical details to non-technical end-users. • Experience in creating and modifying support documentation to improve processes and procedures. Pluses (but not required): · CompTIA A+ certification
