Helpdesk System Engineer – MSP We seek a Helpdesk System Engineer – MSP to join a growing Managed Service Provider. The Helpdesk System Engineer – MSP will be leading the helpdesk team and will be part of a team coordinating technology refreshes and deployments to end-users. The Helpdesk System Engineer – MSP position requires someone with two years of IT support / MSP experience who enjoys working with customers and learning from senior-level engineers. The Helpdesk System Engineer – MSP will take the initiative to shadow senior technicians on more complex issues growing their knowledge and becoming more autonomous. The selected candidate will provide clients with a solid platform to help build their businesses. The candidate will be willing to visit a client in Warrenton, VA, twice a year and a client in Columbia, MD, every other month. This opportunity allows the Helpdesk System Engineer – MSP to grow internally. Helpdesk System Engineer – MSP Experience • Active Directory experience at intermediate level • 2+ years experience working for a Managed Service Provider REQUIRED • Administration experience in multi-site Active Directory 2008R2/2012/2016 environments • Administration experience in Office365 & Microsoft Exchange 2010/2013/2016 environments • Windows 8,10,11 knowledge and experience • Mac Expereince • Administration/Troubleshooting of virtualization environments • Administration/Troubleshooting of storage area networks • Proficiency with basic networking technologies (VPN, wireless, DNS/DHCP, IP, etc.) • Practical working on Meraki and Ubiquiti hardware (Firewalls, WAP, Switches, etc.) • Experience with IT supports ticketing systems and RMM (ConnectWise, AutoTask Datto, Kaseya, Automate/LabTech, ITGlue, etc.) • Azure AD experience • Ability to write and speak eloquently in an often fast-paced multi-task environment. • Obsessed with learning and personal growth • Understand basic networking concepts • Ability to troubleshoot TCP/IP issues • Experience Installing VoIP phones Helpdesk System Engineer – MSP Benefits • Salary: $60,000- $70,000 • 401k+ company match • PTO • Health Coverage • Actual salary of Helpdesk System Engineer – MSP to commensurate Opportunity Location Alexandria, VA Proposed Salary $60,000 - $70,000 Bowman Williams is a national specialized staffing firm for Cloud Service Providers and Managed Service Providers.
