Job Summary: The IT Helpdesk Specialist provides mission-critical support to all team members. This role will report to our IT Director. The primary responsibility will be to use the helpdesk issue tracking system to support the end-users with troubleshooting web-based applications, hardware, and service connectivity issues. The secondary responsibility will be to work within IT Team to manage, monitor, and document network infrastructure and implement various technology initiatives. Duties and Responsibilities: Helpdesk Specialist - tasks include but are not limited to: • Provide technical assistance and support for employees needing to troubleshoot issues • Install new hardware, including computers, printers, and other peripheral equipment and maintain daily performance of computer systems • Assist IT team in ongoing technology projects • Proactively investigate the nature of IT issues and propose solutions • Provide modifications or repair computer hardware and software • Create user accounts for new hires • Follow up with inquiries to ensure end-user satisfaction • Escalate issues as appropriate for resolution • Accurately maintain hardware and software inventory • Follow prescribed policies, techniques, and procedures Skills and Qualifications: • Demonstrated diagnostic and troubleshooting ability in windows environments • Strong user/team-facing communication skills • Strong understanding of ticket-resolution strategies • Working understanding of security as-a-whole • Microsoft W10/11 required. MacOS, IOS and Azure experience a plus • Understanding of M365 and Azure AD Key Competencies: • High attention to detail and action oriented • Familiarity with IT ticketing systems • Strong Communication skills both written and verbal • Ability to work with or without supervision, from the office • IT Skills including – software updates and troubleshooting, hardware installs, testing and some repair, network maintenance and troubleshooting • Strong customer service skills and orientation • Professional demeanor and positive attitude Education & Experience: • Associates Degree or better in IT, or Computer Science s IT experience can be substituted for a Degree • 1-2 years IT helpdesk experience • Microsoft Windows Desktop OS – 10/11 experience required • EMR system experience is a plus • PC Desktop/Laptop hardware support. • Microsoft Office 365 with Office Applications – Teams, OneDrive, Office apps. • Cloud-managed VOIP experience is a plus (e.g. Dialpad) • Active Directory/ Azure AD/Microsoft 365 experience a plus Supervisory Responsibility: This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Work Environment: This job operates in an office setting and may involve long periods sitting. Physical Demands: This position entails a high level of work performed at a computer terminal throughout the day as well as the regular use of a telephone or headset equipment. On a regular basis, incumbent frequently performs repetitive motions at a computer terminal and is subject to prolonged sitting. Occasionally, eye hand coordination is required to operate office equipment. May also require some standing, bending, and lifting on an intermittent basis. As this position performs customer service activities incumbents may periodically experience moderate levels of stress. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time hourly non-exempt position. A typical work schedule consists of Weekday and Weekend hours on a rotating basis, totaling approximately 40 hours per week. This role will have a hybrid work arrangement between work in a home office, office setting and travel to urgent care centers. Travel: Travel for this position estimated at 50%.
