What’s in it for you? • Competitive compensation • Excellent Benefits – accrued time off, medical, dental, vision, 401k, disability & life insurance, employee discounts/promotions • Generous performance-driven Incentive Compensation package • Competitive environment with company wide recognition, contests and coveted awards What will you be doing? • Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone, electronically • Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues • Research questions using available information resources • Advise user on appropriate action • Follow standard help desk procedures • Log all help desk interactions • Redirect problems to appropriate resource • Identify, prioritize and escalate situations requiring urgent attention • Track and route problems and requests and document resolutions • Support installation of new computers • Support network printers and other computer hardware as needed • Provide support to Desktop OS and Office applications • Maintain and update Windows network as directed by Manager, Information Technology Operations What do you need for this position? • High School graduate, technical degree preferred or equivalent work related experience • Experience in network and desktop computer support • Required: • Windows Server 2003/2008 • Windows XP/7 • Microsoft Office Suite 2003/2007 • Active Directory, Email • Basic LAN/WAN Networking principles • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Customer service orientation • Problem analysis: internet connectivity, IP addresses, domain settings, email settings, Microsoft office problems, etc. • Problem-solving • Adaptability • Attention to detail • Preferred: • Extreme Switches , VMWare, Avaya Telephony, Call Center
