Government Computer/Help Desk About us Apex Analytics Group is a small business in Leavenworth, KS 66048. We are rewarding, fun, and professional and our goal is to create a family-type run organization. Our work environment includes: • Regular social events • Modern office setting We are seeking a computer/help desk specialist to join our team! You will handle a variety of projects to support and improve the organization's network systems. You will work on a team with an experienced administrator at the Training and Management Directorate on Fort Leavenworth. This is not a teleworking position, but you may be asked to work remotely on some occasions. Responsibilities: • Manage all aspects of the networking platform • Troubleshoot network & system issues • Monitor active network and server infrastructure • Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment • Administer network security measures to prevent system interruptions or breaches • Execute sensitive data backup and restoration procedures • Document all technical procedures and user guides ​Qualifications: • CompTIA Sec required • Previous experience as a network or systems administrator desired • Familiarization with Windows OE • Knowledge of TCP/IP and data protocols • Ability to prioritize and multitask • Deadline and detail-oriented • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills • Secret clearance or ability to obtain and maintain one • Prior military service desired, but not necessary The ideal candidate will install, configure, maintain, backup, and restore IT equipment in support of experiments, tests, exercises, demonstrations, or other projects. The equipment may range up to 300 end-user systems configured with software packages that include but are not limited to Microsoft Office products (Word, EXCEL, PowerPoint, etc.), Windows 10, and MS 365. Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year Benefits: • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Paid time off Schedule: • 8 hour shift COVID-19 considerations: Wearing a mask is no longer mandatory.
