(eBay) A whole set of the Coles figures is for sale, with seven bids on the item. The accompanying playkit sets are also for sale, with one seller offering all five for AUD$120. This complete set of Woolworths Fix-Ems is selling on eBay today for $110. (eBay) The supermarket collectable series' aim to entice children and their money-wielding parents into their stores. They have waned in popularity amongst consumers in recent years, mainly as a result of their wasteful nature. Almost a year ago, Coles announced they were doing away with their popular Little Shop collectables in a bid to reduce plastic waste. Coles recently partnered with Warner Bros. Consumer Products on a range of 35 plastic-free figures inspired by Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts characters as part of the Magical Builders collectable campaign. They are made from cardboard and are recyclable. The Wizarding World characters and play kits have been available in Coles and Coles Express stores since July 6. Customers receive one free Coles Magical Builder character with every $30 spent in one transaction at Coles supermarkets, Coles Online and Coles Express. These Coles Magical Builders playkit sets are for sale on eBay. (eBay) There are 30 characters and five special-edition characters to collect. A Hogwarts Trunk Collector Case are available for purchase. Play kit prices range from $9.75 to $15. The Woolworths collectable range in partnership with Disney also came into stores on July 6 and includes 36 reusable woven patches that can be stuck to a range of surfaces or permanently ironed onto some fabrics such as denim, cotton and polyester. The range features characters from Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars, including favourites such as Minnie and Mickey Mouse, Lightning McQueen, Dory, Spider-Man, Groot, and Darth Vader. They are said to be made from at least 80 per cent recycled material. During the five-week campaign, customers will receive one Fix-em for every $30 spent.
