Find myself apologizing once again for missing last week. Con season was hectic but over for me. I was at C2E2, definitely an eventful con…Feels like it has been awhile since there has been a wow book. COMICS RELEASING ON 8/17 Batman Superman World’s Finest #6 We sold 48 copies of Cover A, 8 of cover B and 1 copy of the 1:25 for $50. Why is this hot? This has been a hot selling series for us, haven’t read it but I assume the writing is why people keep coming back for it. Advice Buy it if you want to read it. Catwoman #46 We sold 50 copies of cover B sozomaika and 37 copies of cover C dekal swimsuit. Why is this hot? Two great artists making two great covers. Advice Long term might move but short term buy it for the covers. DC Vs Vampires All-Out War #2 We sold 14 copies of Cover A, 23 copies of cover B, and 10 copies of the swimsuit issue. Why is this hot? DC horror books do fantastic and everyone loves these vampire stories. I want to point out that Leirix is an artist on the rise as the work being put out by this artist is fantastic. Advice Buy it for the covers and if you want to read, this isn’t likely seeing gains. Harley Quinn #20 Cover C Homage 75 copies sold. Why is this hot? It is the 30th anniversary of Harley and we are having trouble keeping these in stock. Advice People love homage covers, could be a nice long term play. Nightwing #95 15 copies of cover A, 13 of cover B, and 30 of the swimsuit. Why is this hot? It is nice to see a book selling well because it is exceptionally written. Advice These swimsuit covers I think will do really well in sets, I’d buy a copy or two and make sets. Bet you can get a nice premium. Sandman #1 Facsimile We sold 60 copies. Why is this hot? New Netflix show. I enjoyed it personally but I also haven’t read the entire series. Advice Facsimilie’s are always nice long term plays as original copies get unaffordable. This is a buy and forget. Frank Miller Presents Ashcan Edition We haven’t sold any as this was a surprise! Why is this hot? Frank Miller Advice Frank Miller has a rapid fan base, but there are more of these out there than people think. We received 5 copies, so thread carefully and don’t over invest. Sonic The Hedgehog Annual 2022 We sold 51 copies of Cover A, 30 copies of Cover B, and 6 copies of the 1:10 for $39.99 Why is this hot? Sonic is selling better than a lot of marvel books, since the second movie we can’t order enough of these. Advice The 1:10s have good long term potential as this is an annual so it has a high buy in to get a 1:10. Last Shadowhawk #1 We sold 30+ copies. Why is this hot? 1st Appearance of a new witchblade. Advice Buy the 1 per store, has the past potential. Shirtless Bear-Fighter 2 #1 1:10 We sold 8 copies for $24.99 Why is this hot? Bear-Fighter is back! Great cover art. Advice Only two copies left on eBay. If you’re a dealer you know that the ratios for these become ghosts and the price is always high. If you can find it at ratio ($10) I’d buy. Avengers 1000000 Bc #1 We sold 29 copies of Cover A. Why is this hot? New origin of Thor. Advice I’d pass on it unless you like to read it. Amazing Spider-Man Annual 1 Facsimile We sold 261 copies. Why is this hot? Reprints the First Appearance of sinister six. Advice Buy and hold, these will go up. Daredevil #2 We sold 49 copies of cover A and 17 copies of the Predator variant. Why is this hot? Loving this series so far, the writing is top notch. Advice 100% read it, you’ll enjoy it. The predator cover is another sneaky long term pick as it is really solid. Edge Of Spider-Verse #2 We sold 180 copies of cover A. Why is this hot? 1st Appearance of a new Spider-Uk Advice Any of these can show up, always play it safe and buy 2-3 copies of Cover A and hold. Also people frequently search for edge of spider-verse 2 which has the first Appearance of Spider-Gwen so people are going to be seeing this book for a long time. Fortnite X Marvel Zero War #3 We sold 34 copies of Cover A. Why is this hot? This is the only series where Grandma’s start calling me saying their Grandson wants it. Advice Only good for a pump and dump as the codes only last for a limited time. Hulk #8 We sold 161 copies of Cover A. Why is this hot? Banner of War continues. Advice I think sets of this story line are going to do well in the future as everyone loves battle issues. Iron Cat #3 We sold 37 copies of Cover A. Why is this hot? New Iron Cat suit. Advice Suit spec isn’t the strongest, 1-2 copies and hold. Star Wars The Mandalorian #2 KEY OF THE WEEK! 250 copies sold of Cover A. Why is this hot? 1st full appearance of Baby Yoda. Yes I will always call him Baby Yoda. Advice There are more Star Wars fans than this print run, Cover A and the ratios are great long term bets. Never bet against Star Wars. This is a minimum 10 copies of Cover A and a cooy of the 1:50 for me. X-Men #13 Adams We sold 42 copies. Why is this hot? Adams killing it like usual. Advice Adams covers do well long term.
