Aldi delighted shoppers last week by announcing a brand new range of luxurious haircare products inspired by one of the biggest salon brands - Olaplex.

The budget supermarket chain's new Bonded haircare range dropped in stores on Sunday, July 28, and has already managed to wow shoppers who have been raving about it online.

Featuring three products that promise to "repair bonds in the hair" at just £3.49 - a shampoo, conditioner and pre-wash treatment - Aldi's range is very similar to the professional brand that retails at around £28 for one bottle.

And it looks like some shoppers are trying to cash in on the popularity of the budget-friendly 'dupes', as they have already been spotted on eBay for up to more than £30 the original price.

One Scots shopper took to the Aldi UK Shoppers Facebook page to warn that the supermarket's affordable hair care range had already turned up on the website.

Pavla Popham, from Edinburgh, shared a screenshot of the Lacura Bonded range, which should only come in at £10.47 for the trio, that was being sold for £34.95.

She captioned the post: "And the craze has started."

Shoppers were quick to flock to the comments section to slam those who are looking to cash in on the viral new products as "greedy".

"Ridiculous! Why would anyone buy it when you can get Olaplex for the same price?!", slammed one shopper. "That's just greedy", fumed a second.

"Wow some people have no morals", commented a third.

Some other shoppers even began debating if selling the range on eBay for more than the original asking price was legal and even suggested that the sellers be reported.

And there wasn't only one seller on eBay who had snapped up the Lacura Bonded range just to sell it for a profit. When we had a look on eBay, we noticed quite a few new listings for the products.

A new listing shows an ad for The Bonded Shampoo and Conditioner duo being sold for a whopping £25.99, while one bottle of shampoo is being sold for £10.

Granted, both of these listings are still cheaper than a £28 bottle of Olaplex, it seems shoppers were just not happy with the seller's asking for more than Aldi.

Aldi's Lacura Bonded range has already sold out online, but you may still be available to find it in stores if you are lucky.
