ALDI is selling a giant kids’ inflatable water slide but you’ll have to fork out a nifty £250 if you want to get your hands on it.

The discounter is flogging the garden toy as part of its latest garden Specialbuy range.

The inflatable slide is an online exclusive

It’s an online exclusive though so you’ll need to be quick if you want one for your home.

The inflatable water slide stands 3.35m high and is 4m long and the 2.3m wide when its blown up.

It features a ladder so children can climb to the top, before whizzing down the slide into the attached paddling pool.

There’s even a water cannon to spray other players.

How to compare prices to get the best deal

JUST because something is on offer, or is part of a sale, it doesn’t mean it’s always a good deal.

There are plenty of comparison websites out there that’ll check prices for you – so don’t be left paying more than you have to.

Most of them work by comparing the prices across hundreds of retailers.

Here are some that we recommend:

  • Google Shopping is a tool that lets users search for and compare prices for products across the web. Simply type in keywords, or a product number, to bring up search results.
  • Price Spy logs the history of how much something costs from over 3,000 different retailers, including Argos, Amazon, eBay and the supermarkets. Once you select an individual product you can quickly compare which stores have the best price and which have it in stock.
  • Idealo is another website that lets you compare prices between retailers. All shoppers need to do is search for the item they need and the website will rank them from the cheapest to the most expensive one.
  • CamelCamelCamel only works on goods being sold on Amazon. To use it, type in the URL of the product you want to check the price of.

The giant plaything can fit up to five players at a time, although only two should be seated on the inflated parts at any one time.

The set it made from polyester and laminated PVC, and is suitable for children aged between three and 10-years-old.

Thankfully, the kit comes with an air blower though so you won’t have to puff up your lungs to get it going.

There’s also a repair kits to help you fix the inflatable if it accidentally comes into contact with anything sharp.

However, if you’re looking for a cheaper option, we found shoppers could save around £30 on the Chad Valley inflatable funhouse with pool and slide from Argos.

And those who have even younger kids can make even more savings by switching to the £70 Chad Valley 10ft kids bouncy castle and paddling pool from Argos.

Aldi’s inflatable water slide is an online exclusive so you won’t find one in store.

You’ll need to factor in the £9.95 delivery charge too as it is classes an an extra large item.

If you miss out though, you can also try to bag yourself the Action Air Forest Play Centre from the same range, although it costs more at £299.99.

Rare £1 coin with error sells for fortune on eBay – and you could have one too – Daily Star

Are you a rare coin collector? In recent weeks we’ve seen a range of rare 50p coins sell for more than its face value. Previously, a rare Kew Gardens 50p coin sold for a whopping 300 times more than its original amount on eBay. Meanwhile, a Blue Peter coin proved popular too as it flogged for under £300. Now it looks as though it’s not just 50p coins that collectors want, it’s also £1 coins too. Earlier this month a rare £1 coin with a notable minting error sold for £206 online. The coin is a copy of the new British pound which entered circulation in 2017, but a design error meant that it was worth a fortune. Chris Eubank Jr’s microwave sells for £66,000 on eBay – ‘That escalated quickly.’ » Brinkwire

A microwave signed by boxer Chris Eubank Jr attracted a bid of £66,000 on eBay. When Chris Eubank Jr was returning to his hotel in Newcastle after a training session last week, he didn’t expect to be asked to sign a microwave. He also didn’t expect that agreeing to scribble his autograph on the item would later cost him £66,000. After learning the microwave was up for auction Eubank Jr, 32, pledged to match the winning bid with a donation to charity. He tweeted “Been sent a link to an eBay auction thats selling the microwave I signed in Newcastle. “No idea how much it’ll go for but to make this a more meaningful situation whatever the winning bid is I’ll match it and give the money to a charity of the winners choice.” His classy gesture duly prompted frenzied interest as bids suddenly ramped up, and on Thursday night the…
